Development of automated solutions for quarry monitoring

The development of an automated quarry monitoring system is a comprehensive solution aimed at ensuring the safety, sustainability and efficiency of mining operations. The system allows real-time monitoring of key parameters affecting slope stability, soil movement, and hydrogeological conditions of the area, including groundwater levels, filtration flows, and soil water saturation dynamics. This makes it possible to identify potential risks and threats at an early stage, which is especially important to prevent collapses, sinkholes and other emergencies.

Improving operational safety

The automated system allows timely detection of potentially dangerous changes, such as slope deformations, ground movements, or changes in hydrogeological conditions. This significantly reduces the likelihood of accidents and related risks to personnel and equipment.

Predicting emergency situations

Analytical algorithms and forecasting tools help to identify possible points of collapse or instability of slopes before their actual occurrence, which allows for preventive measures.
Icon

Effective career management

The system integrates with production processes, allowing you to optimize logistics and increase the efficiency of mining operations. Operators receive accurate data on the state of the quarry, which helps them make strategically important decisions.

Reducing operational risks

Automation of monitoring processes eliminates the need for constant manual monitoring. The cost of regular inspections and the risk of disaster management costs are reduced.

Compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental safety

Our solutions comply with the safety standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Safety Regulations for Open-pit Mining), helping the customer to minimize the impact on the environment.

Flexibility and scalability

The system is designed in such a way that it can be adapted to changing conditions and scaled in the event of an expansion of the quarry or an increase in production volumes.

The timing of the project depends on the size of the quarry, the geological conditions and the individual requirements of the customer. We always coordinate the schedule of work with the customer, taking into account his production plans and key deadlines. We strive to ensure a balance between the quality of design and the speed of execution. On average, the implementation includes the following steps:

The timing of the project depends on the size of the quarry, the geological conditions and the individual requirements of the customer. We always coordinate the schedule of work with the customer, taking into account his production plans and key deadlines. We strive to ensure a balance between the quality of design and the speed of execution. On average, the implementation includes the following steps::

  1. Conducting consultations with the customer to determine the monitoring objectives and key tasks.
  2. Collection and analysis of raw data, including:
Geological and hydrogeological characteristics of the object.
Current monitoring methods and tools (if applicable).
  3. Features of the relief and operating conditions of the quarry.
  4. Development and approval of technical specifications (TK), taking into account the customer’s requirements.
Coordination with the customer of brands of manufacturers of equipment and materials of automation systems used in the project.
  1. Design of monitoring automation schemes.
  2. Placement of sensors (inclinometers, piezometers, radars).
  3. Data transmission schemes (wired or wireless).
  4. Planning the infrastructure for data collection, processing, and storage.
  5. Preparation of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  6. Drawings with the placement of equipment on the site.
  7. Wiring and switching schemes for equipment.
  8. Cable logs and material specifications.
  9. Development of cost estimates to estimate the cost of the project.
  1. Provision of project documentation to the customer for approval.
  2. Making necessary changes based on the customer’s comments.
  3. Preparation of the project for approval with regulatory authorities (if required).
  4. The final revision of the documentation in accordance with the requirements of the examination.
  1. Transfer of the complete set of project documentation to the customer.
  2. Conducting consultations on further implementation and operation of the system.
